Those morons attack anything positive about the city. I've never understood why people feel the need to do that.

Those same far right morons criticize Montgomery on practically anything whether its Bobby or Todd these morons hate good smart groth and common sense but those same morons when a story was talking about Prattville debt issues not a peep from these clowns but they always complain about Montgomery going broke.

It's cause good news isn't news. Hearing something that people think impacts them negatively is the only thing that gets people talking.

Look at AL.com, anytime a story about the Bush administration is up, you have all the redneck Democrats spouting "He's got bloooooooooood own his hayunds!" The same goes for when a story about Obama comes up, you get all the redneck Republicans spouting "He sooooo stewpiiiiiiid! It's bainkruuuuuptin us!"

I gets kinda ridiculous really... I remember when a story about Birmingham's improving crime rate came up after Larry Langford held a large meeting with the less than fortunate men in Birmingham about taking responsibility for their community, lives, and families. That was one of the 1 or 2 things that the man ever did that was good, and people still found a way to cast it in a negative light.

When this kinda stuff happens, it used to get me depressed, but now I've come to realize that most of the people that post have no idea what they're talking about, and they are not representative of what the community as a whole believes. Most people are willing to have an open mind when it comes to local government, but sadly those are the people who usually won't post on these kinds of things online, only the people who hate any kind of progress post 🞵🞵🞵🞵 like that.

It's their pattern. I noticed the same thing about that Prattville debt story. It darn-near killed Marty Rooney to have to report that type of story in the paper. But he didn't tell everything, the actual situation is worse than how the auditor and city council portrayed it in the article.

Yes, usually the majority of thinking, reasonable people are usually "silent" when it comes to voicing their views. Don't even waste time on the naysayers. These are the same jackals who said the city would be throwing away money because building Riverwalk stadium would never work.

It needs to be 92,000 and at least big enough for 8-10 thousand seats. Mayor Strange will be at my job tomorrow, hopefully I'll get a chance to ask him directly.

Hey here's an idea: they can solve the problem of revamping Cramton Bowl, building an indoor sports facility, and the quagmire of renovating Garrett Coliseum all at the same time by putting a roof (A-frame or dome) over the renovated Cramton Bowl; at less cost than building/rebuilding all three. If done right, it would look pretty nice.

The city has never been good about preserving the right things. We've lost alot of great buildings, and then go and encase the yawn inducing masonic temple/courthouse in a 'jewelry box'.

I have noticed that they are cladding the north side of the building now.
