can anyone enlighten me on the proposed 91 and 95 b-lines that are suppose to replace 43 and 135 respectively? are they cancelled or will they be implemented later?

A lot of them are "on hold" or have "delayed" plans, largely because of Ministry's plans for RapidBus integration. Once they actually become B-Line or RapidBus, I'm quite sure we'll have something closer to a BRT.

Just adding to that, 98 B-Line buses will be refurbished, I'm guessing, the addition of the init displays (removal of the ghetto Siemens OnStreet system) and new seats used on new buses and SkyTrain cars.

Well, here is what Commercial portion of Commercial-Broadway looks like now:

These "sticker" signs are quite similar to the ones used at Waterfront Stn. Have to say, it's quite ugly and incomplete looking, especially if you actually follow around at the ends of the sign.

First of all, Platform 1 signs displays the train terminus, whereas Platform 2 signs display the cities. Yes, displaying the cities are nice, but it should really say "Waterfront via Columbia" instead. While I prefer inidicating platforms as numbers, now, we have an inconsistency with the Canada Line, where they use inbound/outbound. There's also a lack of signs coming down the stairs to the platforms.

Well, at least they have something.

"Waterfront via New Westminster" would serve double duty since it's a city and a station.
I guess there's a lot of confusion at the station.

Yea, they really should've sticked with the "inbound" and "outbound" thing. That's the problem when you have Translink and InTransitBC doing their own separate branding.

Are those really stickers? lol, they look painted on....or some sort of wall tattoo.

I just call it stickers LMAO but whatever they are, TransLink needs to find a new printer company because you can see the streaks from the ink cartridges -__-"

Not to mention, they used a slightly darker yellow than the M-Line's actual colour

Is the original Broadway Station Platform 3 and 4 then?

If they're moving to platform numbers, they need to make the platform numbers VERY apparent.

I guess we'll have to see when Broadway Stn is complete first. But you bring up a very good point: shouldn't Broadway-proper be Platform 1 & 2, then Commercial Drive be 3 & 4? Sigh.

lol, the system map in the background is starting to peel off....but i suppose it'll have to be replaced anyway, it looks like an old map.

sweet i look forward to those being put back in action even more. That is if they are still coming to surrey. If they want to give surrey all new buses for the 399 route that would be cool too=P

about 22 buses from the 98 B-Line will be brought over to Surrey for the 399.
