the revisions weren't really "fairly big" - most of them were relatively minor detail revisions such as moving the balconies at the top from the east and west faces to continue the lines of those on the lower floors where they are on the north and south faces). some of the minor changes at the top were to "hide" some of the cooling towers and mechanical equipment that were starting to intrude into that space between the "turrets" although it should be noted there is still much more articulation at that level than is apparent at this scale (although perhaps less than what might have been accomplished without ecca). having said that, in both renderings it's simply impossible to show the level of detail and articulation that a finished structure this large will be able to show off (i.e. the depth and colour of the curtain wall mullions, the shading differences between honed and polished and rough cut granite or between honed and polished and rough cut granite or between tyndal stone and limestone and marble or wood and glass feature elements, the pedestrian bridges over water features etc., all of which you will be able to see and touch...). and all of which probably emphasize as much as anything else the old expression that says "the devil is in the details".
