Imagine possibilities such as this hot Oklahoma City proposal. After the CCA gets shut down, all we would need is an energy company to HQ here. (It's practically in the bag!)

And if I hear anyone talk about how such a tall structure would look bad in the Edmonton skyline ... that's right, I'm looking at you, Cold ...

Great work on the projects list, 240.

Re: 10406 98 ave is now Abbey Lane Tower, new renders were posted a few weeks back; here's the link on C2E: http://www.connect2edmonton.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=7834

Also, should maybe the Qualico Portrait Gallery submission and Alberta Hotel be listed as "Proposed"?

Awesome news. Has this one been to EDC yet? It's been in the minutes, but I can't remember if that was in the past or future at this point?

Abbey Lane... right, I knew I forgot one. I'll get it added tonight. I could also add the submissions for the portrait galleries.

If it helps any, here's the link to the Qualico proposal, but dunno if you can use any of the images:
http://qualicoedmonton.com/commercial/station/documents/ThePortraitGalleryofCanada_000.pdf

And a couple of images of the old Alberta Hotel here:
http://www.connect2edmonton.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=5401&page=2

Can't find any images of Gene's actual proposal, though.

Holy crap. I've never realized how big of a shitload of construction projects are going on in this city and an even larger shitload of proposals that probably stand a good chance of going through. I don't know why so many Edmontonians are consistently bitching that "it isn't enough". How much more is there to be had? I think we are givin er' at a pretty respectable level in comparison with the rest of the country.

I think that Edmontonians need to stop comparing themselves to Calgary which is what so many do, and that is just plain wrong. This is a great city that is developing at it's own pace, and a pretty darn good one to. To hell with what is going on in Calgary. This city rocks
