Looking at CCIS from the north-east, with lots of progress on the east facade work:

Looking north from the main U of A Quad:

Large columns soaring to create a large common space?

I don't know why you find that so funny. I know that none of us can force them to change their design, but if some of us write in they might at least get the hint that it should be a thought for future developments. Can't hurt to try, right?

^ dont bother using the condo guide. You'd know about it by going here waaay before the remainder of the public would... plus cold is right, it can cause an immediate drop into a deep depression

Well, its the nature of the medium.... Anyone heard anything about the Urbia project? Has it been approved by the city?

It's great news that Edmonton grew by 30,000 in the last year alone but I have to ask........why so little condo construction downtown. According to this site right now there are only 7 highrises underconstruction in the whole city. Is none of this gain happening downtown?
I know, I know high rises don't neccessaily correlate to population growth but..... Is there a lot of low rises going on downtown like 3 story apts/condos, row houses etc. I really hope so because downtown Edmonton and downtown parking lots seem to be one in the same. Is there a lot of downtown infil going on downtown to fill in those gaps?
