Yes, it is the new Jewel grocery store. I came into this thread to ask about the site... I stopped and took a look after my bike ride today and noticed that there are a lot of caissons in the ground. They aren't super big and it's impossible to know how deep they are, but it made me wonder about the site. Is something going to go on top of the Jewel?
I also noticed that the high-rise portion of the Trio development has a foundation in place (or at least some of it in place). A lot of it is covered up, and there really isn't much in the way of construction equipment on site. From looking at MLS listings, it doesn't look like the mid-rise portions have sold very well, so I wonder how long, if ever, it will take for them to get going on the tower. And we can't forget about the park they are supposed to build!
