Ehlers played for the Jets for 10 seasons. I do not fault him for leaving. It's not like he wanted out of Winnipeg right from the beginning, unlike some people (Kane, Trouba, Roslovic, PLD, McGroarty, etc).
Ehlers was a UFA, and had every right to choose to play in a different place, for various reason. He was an integral part of the Jets and I will always be grateful for his time as a Jet.
