Just moved nearby and all I can say is WOW! It really looks good from all angles which is great cause it basically has a 360 degree vantage point and is extremely visible. Good Job Claridge.

It feels weird to say this about a Claridge project, but this is turning out to be a gorgeous building. Bravo.

Between this and East Flats, I hope they've turned a corner.

EDIT: sent Claridge an email to express my appreciation for the design and quality of these two, and encouraged them to keep it up.

As a big fan of linear balconies this project is making me warm and fuzzy.

I'd still like to see more roof features on our new projects though. Nothing Dubai crazy and tacky but just about anything will do.

I absolutely love Dale 1 for how they addressed the roofline. Parkdale collective is pretty decent too.

Gorgeous.

Claridge... where was this Claridge when building Icon? We should start a gofundme to reclad the balcony glass.

I would still like to see more roof elements in some of these new projects without going full Dubai. Think Minto Metropole.

Sadly they have branded the west side and I could see wiring/attachment points ready to go on the east

The huge name on top feels really tacky to me. And it’s too bad the mechanical part on top is now black instead of grey/silver. It sticks out like a sore thumb.

Unpopular opinion; I prefer with the name than without.

Same, just wished they’d gone with the building name instead of Claridge, especially given its location at the entrance to Hintonburg. Would have been good symmetry with the street level neighbourhood sign at Wellington and Parkdale.

True. Give all of your buildings a proper name and logo if you want to plaster your name up top. Just having "Claridge" on all the buildings isn't very descriptive.

That's a reasonable take. But then perhaps it raises the confusion of.. are you advocating for the building itself or the neighbourhood. Personally I think the Claridge script is nice enough that it doesn't bother me.

When did writing the name of your building on top become a thing? I'm going to go back to the mid 2000s with builds like St.George and Metropole. That wasn't a thing with them. Even some of the higher end builds in downtown like Hudson park and The Gardens circa early 2010s don't have that.

I feel like it started with SOHO.

It's honestly kind of cheesy and I could do without it. By all means.. name your building and have a placard over the front entrance or driveway. But plastering it in human sized plus letters across the top of your mechanical penthouse is just.. cheesy man.

Is there a website for this building / rental offering?
