Here's Repentigny as seen from the river (taken from a trip to the Repentigny Islands). This cluster will not grow in a foreseeable future, as the city currently deals with the backlash of authorizing these two towers. There is still densification going on (new masterplan for the Galeries Rive-Nord site - Avantia), and a new masterplan for Céline-Dion boulevard in Charlemagne.
Lachenaie (Terrebonne) is more interesting, but I don't have pictures of it.

From Gatineau looking towards Ottawa. Part of the Escarpment, Zibi and LeBreton on the left, Dow's Lake and Gladstone in the middle, Tunney's/Mechanicsville to the right.

It's hard to get used to seeing that in Greater Montreal.

From hoggytime on Skyrise. LeBreton Flats from the top level of Ottawa Delta. The library, Odenak towers u/c (31 and 36 floors) and the west skyline. Big patch of bush will be the NHL arena and "Ice District".

It kind of makes me think of Brazilian cities where you have these large districts of standalone towers that look impressive from a distance, but up close they're just fugly apartment blocks in a quasi-suburban setting.

From a Colliers report. I don’t know if they did the smaller cities dirty or did them good with only showing a single structure. Actually, I’d like them to do that with all cities once in a while to switch things up when they release these quarterly.

My favourite is for the self storage.

I'm shocked the Ottawa picture doesn't include Parliament. These types of things are usually exclusively Parliament, at an angle that somehow nearly fully hides any office/hotel building behind.

And yeah, Self Storage, what a beautiful city!

For a minute, I thought this was the photo to represent "Welland"

(I blame it on Wigs' shots of unpretty local buildings in the Ugly Canada thread)

Why can't they use current photos? That Toronto one is years old now.

The Halifax and Moncton ones look like they could be in a quaint rural area an hour away from the nearest city.
