It was odd in that just like the picture above, it showed only an empty room with lots of space for passengers to stand, line up and wait just like an airplane on a taxiway, not any people who had to actually make use of it describing their experience. Ms. Carter was unable to clearly explain what advantages it had over the existing Customs Hall nearby or what benefits it beings to passengers. As seems to be the case for airports everywhere, it requires passengers to walk significant distances to then stand in long lines. I get that airports tend to have great distances to move through them since it is the nature of the genre, but HIAA has never seen fit to mitigate that with moving sidewalks like many other airports or other passenger aids AFAIK.
