Yippee! Now what! Turning this space into charging station locations. Bulldoze the dang thing and the two buildings behind
on Chestnut St, and build something for people to live in.

It's unfortunate East Royalty has been so underserved by retail. Would be great to get some over there with all the growth!

That looks fantastic! They’re essentially building a brand new arena. I don’t imagine the islanders will be able to stay there during construction will they? The other options would be UPEI or Summerside.

They indicated that the facility will remain open during the construction.

After a short delay waiting for the steel to arrive, construction has once again started at the Chesapeake apartments #2. The steel is being put in place as we speak!

FYI, Halifax can't get any and it has been an issue of late across the country.
Toronto leads the US and Canada in spades in the amount of cranes in use. In fact, if you added all the cranes together used in the 14 major cities in the USA and Canada, Toronto out numbers that total bigtime with 106.

Businesses will have to pay attention to East Royalty as more development is moving forward and fast. Projected population figures in a report released back in 2019 put East Royalty at over 17,000 by 2035. That report was released before Montgomery Heights, and all the next large developments, expansion of Hillsborough village and the new land acquisition from Marshfield. 17,000, that's a Summerside size population and that will probably get there before 2030. Sobeys was mentioned as a company interested to build a new store. As they say, build it and they will come!

We were in PEI over the weekend, and at Charlottetown Mall / Royalty Crossing / Towers Mall the parking lot outside the old BMO / Food Court doors is all torn up.

Just a drainage update or something more going on here?
