Grafton St. - Vacant Lot

I saw this sign in the former Showboat lot on Grafton St. I doubt
if this will be a seven storey, especially since it's in NIMBY country!

Please note the image, and that stupid "step-back'.

I think setbacks work, especially with smaller buildings around. I think that one looks great!

I haven't seen anything posted by Open Practice yet. Would it be worth contacting them again?

583 North River Rd Update

No foundation walls when this was taken this morning but by afternoon the walls were up. It's going up fast! No renderings yet?!

I'd ask again. This is nuts! It must one heck of a building to be so sneaky. And nothing mentioned in the city documents, just the permit page.

The walls are up, very quickly I may add. The workers were there at sunrise.

It's Top Secret I bet!

A 50 unit on a small footprint like this, I bet it's at
least 5 floors.

Drawings are only released when a project needs council’s approval. Hopefully when the city gets a new website and new permitting platform they’ll finally start releasing more information, because the list of approvals is not very transparent…a waste of effort, in my opinion.

Irving Oil donates long-closed gas station property to City of Charlottetown.

Yippee! Now what! Turning this space into charging station locations. Bulldoze the dang thing and the two buildings behind
on Chestnut St, and build something for people to live in.
