I am diagnosing the first known case of Carney Derangement Syndrome.

Keep up with what? Like he wasn’t the chair of the board 3 short months ago. Like he is still a major shareholder in the Company…

Carney is way better talking in the boardroom. I suspect that's part of the reason why his first Trump call seemed to go so well, and it will of course help us on other similar international stages.

I thought he's been good and bad on the campaign trail so far with the media. He makes mistakes but he also gives real answers to questions. He will only get better.

Another move of only 1-2% from Liberals to Cons and it's a clear majority.
Yep, the Liberal majority being shown in most polls the last 10 days is held up under an unproven and potentially shaky foundation. I would say a LPC majority is more likely than a CPC majority without a doubt. My point is that lurking in the shadows of these polls is about a 1/5 chance that PP walks away with this thing in some form.

I am trying to remain as objective as possible. I plan to vote Liberal and have made that clear. But its important to take emotion out of it and call it like it is.

Oh right I’m on SSP forum, I should bury my head in the sand when Mark Carney completely contradicts himself saying he will build nation building infrastructure projects while at the same time supporting a bill that prohibits nation building projects!

That Carney doesn’t support Bill C-69 which diminishes any chance of Canadas energy sector gainfully expanding to the world market, thus alleviating Canada’s reliance on the USA…

Point them out, please

There is a risk of a debate disaster but 26 days is also a long time for all the Bloc voters and NDP voters to stick with their in some case first time vote for the Liberals. These are far left people voting for a banker and nationalists voting for an English banker who barely speaks French. That is weird and very shaky as you say.

If that isn't a major point of attack in a debate I don't know what is.

I gotta say I was actually hopefull that Mark Carney would look out for the best interest of ALL of Canada, of ALL of Canada’s industries, but with him refusing to repeal Bill C-69 he is evidently not. Bill C-69 is a major sticking point for many western Canadians, and with him insisting on keeping it it will only cause for the continuation of the great Canadian divide.

Bill-C69 only helps the US, while hurting Canada… and Carney says he’s for ALL Canadians? I call BS

They were not forecasting a recession until after Trump announced plans to place tariffs on China and most of America's allies. If a non-insane President took office in January, there would be continued economic growth.

This is all on the US Government.

It will only matter to people in Alberta and Saskatchewan, the only place that are Conservative strongholds. It will do nothing to gain voters in BC or anywhere east of Winnipeg. Aside from that, the UCP and Alberta are doing themselves no favours by putting a gun to the head of Ottawa, and threatening to leave Canada if they don't get their way. Alberta is now the most entitled and obnoxious province in Canada, thanks to Smith and company.

The bigger issues, is the fact that Poilievre will not obtain his security clearance (due to being compromised by foreign countries), when bad-faith actors from China, India, Russia, and the US are trying to interfere with the Canadian elections and our sovereignty as a nation. .

Look up how and why Tom Mulcair supports PP not getting his security clearance.

The Alberta Government will just find something else to whine about. Seriously, most of us are sick and tired of the Alberta Government shakedown of the rest of Canada. And this is coming from someone who lived in the province for nearly 20 years.

Nobody cares what Tom Mulclair, a failed NDP leader has to say about anything. It would be like asking former Conservative leader Stockwell Day, if Canada should join the USA (Day is a huge proponent of having the USA annex us).

So, the ROC (sans environmentalists) will oppose something that could help bring prosperity and jobs to the ROC...well ok then.

I am just completely fucking dumbfounded that in the midst of this trade war our government inisists on handcuffing our most important resource to the US!

Why aren’t all Canadians insisting on unlocking our natural resource power to break away from the US! Do you Carney supporters here also support his decision to keep our energy sector dependent on the USA… not repealing C-69 does just that.

I am just completely fucking dumbfounded that in the midst of this trade war, Danielle Smith and the UCP exploit the opportunity, to try to shakedown Ottawa by making a list of demands, that if not met within 6 months, she will attempt to hold a referendum on Alberta succeeding from Canada.
