I made an unfortunate discovery yesterday.
Robert Smythe, the creator of Urbsite passed away late last year.
For anyone not aware this is a masterpiece collection of the history of Ottawa buildings past and present and in some cases no longer existing.

I hadn't visited the site in a while and had some potential contributions of some photos and watercolor paintings of the Pepsi building on Belfast going back decades. My father has worked there for 45 years and there is seemingly no limit on the subjects Robert would cover.
Great research and writing. Will be missed.
