Just look at Donald Trump for example. Aside from deporting undocumented migrants, everything he has said and done, either he failed at (ending the Ukraine and Gaza wars immediately), or boosting the economy and ending inflation (economy is crashing, while prices are still high).

The scary part of all this, is that many in the CPC inner circle are big MAGA fans. I am willing to bet any money that he is going to do exactly what Alberta is doing, and that would be an unmitigated disaster for all Canadians. In other words, Poilievre is full of shit.
Again, it seems likely that he can balance such a cut by rolling back to 2020 levels of federal personnel. How many federal employees have a direct impact on the quality/availability of healthcare services in various provinces, or the amount of education funding available? These are all items that are responsibilities of the provinces, with funding support from the federal government. Federal payroll numbers are completely different.
