This is just a rough calculation, but using an online
population growth calculator I get the following:
Population growth during Mr Harper's terms from 2008 (33.2M) to 2015 (35.7M): 1.04%
Applying that growth rate from 2015 to 2100, we'd have a population of roughly 86 million.
Looking at the Trudeau years, from 2015 (35.7M) to 2024 (41.5M est.): 1.69%
Applying that growth rate from 2025 to 2100, we'd have a population of roughly 125 million.
So, somewhere in between the Harper and Trudeau immigration rates, we get to 100 million in 2100.
