What has Poilievre done since then?

You obviously purposely cut out the part where I acknowledged that it is the system, albeit flawed and the The Libs gamed it in full force. Using a one step above Twitter poll with "online voters" to select our next PM.

Cut out? I quoted your entire post. Did you have it queued up no matter who won?

Everybody knew how this vote would work from Day 1.

Represented and worked for Canadians for over 20 years. As an MP, Cabinet Minister and Opposition Leader. Not good enough?

Because facts matter:
1988 - BA with high honours in economics
1993 - Master of Philosophy
1995 - Doctor of Philosophy and economics

So do I read that as Dr. Mark Carney x2?

I am in the camp that thinks PP will have difficulty rallying people against Carney. Carney is most definitely not JT, and, he has removed the carbon tax as an irritant.

The real election battle will be fought against Adolf Drumpf. This places PP at a distinct disadvantage, since most people view him as a pro-trucker MAGA-light acolyte of Adolf Drumpf. If the Liberals were smart, they should just ignore PP (aside from continuing to draw comparisons between him and the US MAGA movement), and concentrate their election rhetoric totally toward the rise of American fascism.
Carney is the more pro MAGA/Pro American of the two. He will take a chainsaw to Canadas oil and gas sector and make Canada more US dependent than ever. Canadian dollar will tank and investment will flee to the US.

This will benefit Trump and the Americans far more than P.P.

Ignatieff, very similar education. That worked out well...

Whether you like Pierre Poilievre or not, being a career politician is a real job, and moving up the ranks to become leader of a major political party is a real accomplishment.

"He doesn't have private sector experience", or whatever, was always a right wing line, and not a very good one IMO.

It's hard to take these kinds of criticisms seriously because as any lucid person knows if Poilievre had Carney's background and vice-versa, you could just swap the colours on the ads and keep the exact same slogans.

The alternative to this is Trump and Putin deciding how the world functions and bullying everyone else around.

I fully expect Musk and Trumps supporters and well as Russia, India and China to want to meddle in the next election. I don't think any of them want to see a Liberal government win.

Musk says something good about Pollivere.

WSJ/Bloomberg/Financial Times says something good about Carney.

Which one is foreign interference?

Most people answering this inadvertently reveal that Liberalism has usurped democracy.

How is this even a topic, considering the massive Liberal support for Justin Trudeau and his complete lackluster work experience and education… how many times did he drop out?

The Spring Election
Expect It: By Late April or Early May

"April 28 or May 5 are election dates under consideration, the three Carney sources said. That gives parties just more than a month on the campaign trail, a fairly standard length for federal elections."

In other words, nothing...

Comparing Poilievre favourably to Carney, in terms of their resumes and life experience, is not very wise, especially for Conservative voters.

So to these elitist Liberals, Poilievre is an underachiever for working and going to school at the same time. Doesn't have elite school credentials. Talk about champagne socialists...

Doug Ford never even finished college.

To be fair to PP, he was voted the Calgary Sun "Paperboy of the Month," in September 1992.

Why are you fixated on the former PM, Justin Trudeau who is not running in this election? Move on, the country has!

I'm no elite but it baffles me that after 20+ years as a career politician he has no legislation introduced and he can't get co-ordinated to do his security paperwork... talk about LAZY.
