Carney did exactly what trump wanted. He moved his company to New York from Canada. The guy evades taxes like a dead beat father evades child support. Carney would be a disaster running Canada. The guy does whatever's best for himself, not the country.

I don’t think Trump won solely on MAGA. Americans were more fed up with the extreme direction the country was going. Canada is continuing down same path.

Wonder if a new US election were held today what the vote result would be, I doubt Trump would win. People in Canada see what is happening, they don't like it and the CPC is the closest thing to MAGA and Trump - Pierre's chief of staff is madly in love with Trump.

I'd argue it shows his does what's best for his employer. That was Brookfield, it may soon be Canada.

Exactly. If Carney wants to show he's looking for a clean break from the ancien regime, publicly dump and fire Katie Telford, Gerald Butts and the Trudeau PMO crew.

By not paying his taxes? By padding his company while screwing the country? Brookfield is the top tax evader according to The Center for International Corporate Tax Accountability & Research. In 2021 alone, the report outlined that 1 in 5 of all tax dollars that corporations evaded came from Brookfield alone. This accounted for 6.5 Billion dollars that Carney screwed the country. Carney is the worst type of person.

If anything, many Canadians are scared that Carney is a new face to continue Trudeau's disastrous domestic policies. That's why Justin's PMO needs to be flushed out and neutered.

I'm really curious, what path is that?

If we are talking inflation, it's a worldwide issue.
If we are talking quality of life, we still rank highly on every imaginable metric.
If we are talking social responsibility, we may not be Scandanavia but we do a good job taking care of newcomers and our least fortunate.

Let me guess, you want more resource extraction? That will happen, particularly now with the US being such an unreliable trading partner. You want more military? My guess is that is coming to.

But, please, explain what this path is.

Democracy is just party politics and we've had one supporting the most corrupt, the most anti-confederation, etc. leadership over the past decade that has driven our global wealth position into the ground and given away our knowledge for nothing. I don't see a party shifting gears regardless of a new head honcho without a big loss of power. PP will last no longer than a single term as the most right wing leader we've seen in Canada. The Libtards still outnumber the Alt Right despite Trudeau's open door policies being a boon for extreme right wing ideologies.
