I'd be surprised if many swing voters remember who the Bank of Canada governor was 15 years ago.

I'm not sure you know what a Zoomer is. Their birth years are 1997 to 2012. Only half that cohort will even be eligible to vote this year. The youngest of them are finishing elementary or middle school this year. So no, they aren't a large chunk of the electorate in 2025.

These things are fluid. 1995 was previous definition. Either way 18-34 is mostly Gen Z. But agreed they won't be a big factor. This will perhaps be the first millennial election if they move decisively enough.

Eggs is a inflation meme. More US than Canada. The point is claims this is the worst economy in generations is ridiculous.

It isn't all about the economy being the worst, and it isn't all about eggs, it's more about the cost of housing and not being able to afford a home for a generation wanting to start a family and have a home to do it in.
