Strait Music owned that land and when they moved in 2023 to their current location on Bee Caves Road, they sold the land to an LLC associated with CWS Properties.

Back in 2021, there was a
post here about CWS planning to build a 320 unit Class A 5-Story multi-family wrap project on the land adjacent to where Strait Music was.

So maybe it has something to do with that project.
