I mean, the November date is from Amilcar's own statements to the media over the past few weeks, I thought common knowledge, but here. There's no indication that things would slip into December, now that we're past the trial running

“It’s going in to December”. Then zero supporting info as to why they think that.

I know people working on the project who've said November is no longer in play. That's all I can say. It's looking like an early December launch is possible.

I guess we'll find out, but the only reason I could see it slipping into December is paperwork or personnel issues.

Although, it seems silly to not announce a date just based on regulatory stuff. They could pick a safe date, say Dec 10 and just be done with it. At this level of conservatism they'll announce the date 1 day before opening, just because it might change if they get it wrong.

I have a feeling like we'll only know the opening date about a week before it happens. They are extremely risk averse

That may be the case, but as folks interested in a growing and prosperous Ottawa we should not get too excited. The Cons are gonna cut like 20% from the public service. I wonder if we will see a mini local recession? I don't really have any skin in the game....other than being a homeowner in Ottawa but I know a lot of people are nervous not just about losing their jobs but about taking on the work of those that are cut.Cool update video, nonetheless. My guess for the date is December 10th as well. It's a bit hard to compare to the confed line, because substantial completion and it's paperwork was what triggered trial running, whereas it's reversed this time. They needed a passing trial to trigger the substantial completion paperwork

Oh relax. I will take you seriously when you start calling out the other members who make 'snide' remarks about Conservative mayors, premiers, & federal leaders continuously. Even some of the moderators on here are guilty of 'snide' swipes at political figures. Toughen up bud. Polls are telling and resumes are factual.

My guess for the start date for Line 2 & 4 is November 30th.
