Yeah, it would be preferable to run modest surpluses until we pay down the debt more, but the key word there is moderation. Most New Brunswicker's didn't see Blaine Higgs's large surpluses as the result of moderation, but rather, negligence.
Blaming Higgs for NBs abysmal healthcare is lazy. Its been raped and pillaged for decades and the hands of both parties. Whats obvious to me is New Brunswickers in general have a very short memory and cant seem to make up their mind what they want.
