Do you think he knows that the province barely funds Translink at all? It's almost all revenue generated within Metro Vancouver (fares + property tax + gas tax + parking tax + DCCs); I believe for the most part any provincial funding mostly goes towards infrastructure capital as well.
It's an interesting populist talking point I guess.
