I understand both sides of the coin on this one.
It can be a little disappointing that new buildings in Ottawa don't come close to being as eye catching as in say, Montreal, Toronto or Calgary.
At the same time, I'm 100% in agreement with "bring them on anyways".
We desperately need the density. We need a thriving core that can sustain large amounts of people living, and we need a lot more housing to be built to achieve this. Some will look more drab than others, due to cost, designers, or a variety of other reasons. We still need them, and so I say even to the ugliest ones, bring them on (and I'll try not to look up at those ones when passing by)
