I have to admit; it looks to me as if they are currently just standing around the new Percy overpass waiting for concrete to cure.
It looked to me as if the new footings for the new bridge structures were INSIDE the previous abutments. Does anyone know if the new spans are shorter than the old ones? If so, that would leave less room for road-lanes and sidewalks under the bridge.
Also, the new structures’ decks appear to still need to be further widened. The structures’ walls extend further than the deck, but not as far out as the existing ramp walls. It looks strange. Can anyone shed any light on this?
