Regarding the Ram's move to LA, St. Louis just won a $790 million lawsuit over the NFL regarding their relocation. St. Louis did not want the Rams to leave and the Rams told St. Louis they would be interested in staying in town if a new stadium could be built, among other things. So a handful of regional entities spent millions of dollars planning for one. However, it came out the Rams had no intention of staying in St. Louis and had lied that they did. So St. Louis had spent millions of dollars for nothing.
