For me it wasn't the cold, but it is a depressing city, and there are a few people on here who refuse to acknowledge this. The downtown is dreary as f*ck, the Exchange is maybe 25% what it should be in terms of development/amenities. OV has not really changed in decades. Stupid decision after stupid decision is made at the municipal level (ie: P&M, Marketlands, etc). Bowman exemplifies the suburban image, and he hardly fights for a thriving downtown despite his rhetoric. Despite what I thought, I did not know for sure if so many people were still leaving the province, but as Brent highlighted, they are.
