I personally don't mind the gritty, rundown small businesses set up along Kingsway. They make the street feel a lot more layered and multidimensional than it would be if they were replaced with sterile glass condos.

The giant parking lots at Old Orchard, Esso, and Metropolis are what I want to see redeveloped.

There are also quite a few big empty retail buildings now where Target, Best Buy, and Staples used to be. I wonder how long those will sit empty for.
