lets just say winnipeg is the closest major market that most people in manitoba, eastern saskatchewan, western ontario and north dakota, and north western minnesota have thats well over 2 million people i would say... not to mention the population around winnipeg, surrounding manitoba cities, and regina continues to grow so that number will only increase.. people in alberta have plethora of options between edmonton and clgy... but most people around here only got peg.. within 3- 4 hr driving distance. remember lot of people from minnesota northdakota montana and all over canada come to peg party, and cabin it up and beach it up

calgary city population is just over a million
and edmonton city population is just over 800 thousand not metro city

winnipeg is 680 thousand and i think that its lot higher than ppl are giving it credit for being cuz if the population barely increased how can they explain the low vancancy the increased housing starts,, the booming real estate market... i think the number is a lot higher than people are making it out to be... there must be a demand to live here there just must be
