It wouldn't prove much. They want it to use the backlash against the street changes to push the skytrain. On the other hand if it works out like that, any money spent on upgrading to a BRT corridor would be wasted and it would also make the corridor cheaper for an LRT in the long term, possibly precluding any Skytrain system.
