In that case, there is plenty of vacant land downtown. The vacant lot on Princess and Logan; Graham between Hargrave and Carlton ("rock star parking" at the MTS Centre); the vacant lot on Graham between Garry and Smith (where CP currently parks some of their fleet), the triangular lot between Notre Dame, Ellice, and Smith; Donald and York; Hargrave and York; South Main... the possibilities are boundless south of Portage.
Or they could get an agency to help them buy up a bunch of little properties and go on a demolition spree. That would be much more suitable.
