VivaLFuego, I agree with you; as I said in my followup, they did take some of the neighborhood's concerns into mind when designing the tower. I don't think it's going to block anyone's views (from what I understand, there are a few units on the north side who will be affected, but everywhere else the impact will be minimal) and hopefully the effect to the neighborhood as a whole will be minimal. The green roof is a nice addition, too... of course, they had promised NY owners that they were going to do something like that on the existing parking structure three years ago and that hasn't happened yet, but that's another story.
My main beef is with Invsco and their deceitful practices. Had they been forthright about their plans from the beginning, I wouldn't complain at all now. As a matter of fact, if my circumstances were different, I'd absolutely be staying in the condo (I LOVE my view, and wish I could be there to watch Trump/Waterview/Spire bloom on the skyline). I just hate seeing those bastards at Invsco profit at the expense of existing unit owners.
