A bit of a head scratcher, but Porter has the right size aircraft for this route and properly timed connections to the maritimes. I wonder if they got any incentive to run this route.

Whether you connect YMM-Maritmes over YYZ or YOW, it doesn’t make much difference. However, YOW has no competition unlike YYZ. Can also probably stimulate a lot of new O&D traffic. Certainly makes the likelihood of seasonal YOW-YDF launching next summer much higher.
