It's quite the decline for the Village Mall from when it first opened. A busy mall with a two level Sears and Woolco; plus other large stores such as Dominion, Consumers Distributing and Marks & Spencer. The thought was at the time it would likely result in the end of the Avalon Mall; as the "mall" was getting long on the tooth. Love the decorations! A SKEET ball; priceless!!
