Very weird day. Officially up to 1C this afternoon and only for an hour. Rest of the time was -1C at YUL. Downtown was up to 4C this afternoon while the south shore was as high as 5C. From Wundermaps, the pocket starting from Lasalle to downtown Montreal was as much as 4-5 degrees warmer than the rest of the island.
Now finally YUL caught up to the rest of the city and is up to 3C now.

-4C (wind chill of -11) last night at midnight. It got progressively warmer until morning.

The warmspot was Welland-Pelham, ON at 10.6C.

Warmest low was Cumshewa Island, BC at 8.4C.

Mostly light overcast skies with a bit of sun poking through.
Otherwise, calm, dry and cool.

Tuesday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 7 C, the low was 2 C.

0C and fairly dense fog in Moncton at 8 AM, going up to +9C this afternoon with rain, even warmer tomorrow, but stormy with strong gusty winds.

It will be interesting to see how much snow is left on the ground tomorrow evening. Ground cover is currently about 8 cm or so.

It's raining so I spent a break walking around the Village Mall, our second-largest but nearest to death.

Stopped into Pipers, which is the urban version of Riffs, both of which are down-market "department stores", the kind that are busiest when benefits cheques go out.

Managed to spend, like, $80. I have a problem

Nice mild week in Calgary, highs around zero, lows around -5. Will get a dip into the -teens early next week then back up to more seasonal temps for Christmas!

I found those crackers in a store here, so bought some; then remembered that I don't actually like them.

Nice day today. It reached 10c in the city.

I've seen this crew busk around Vancouver over the last year or so. They have a great sound. Good people too.

6C and rainy. Crappy and dark. But it is mild so snow is melting.

Low of 3C last night.

The warmspot was Cheticamp, NS at 16.1C.

Warmest low was Bonilla Island, BC at 8.6C.

Congrats to EC and their model. They were right this time.

Weird 48 hours in New Brunswick. Two days of plus 12 across southern NB has killed all the snow in the Fredericton area. The wind is 50km plus even this far in land. 30,000 plus power outages currently https://www.nbpower.com/Open/Outages.aspx?lang=en mostly in the central and eastern portions on the province.

I was doing some frame grabs from the live cams earlier on and just happened to catch a bald eagle going by.

Currently 14C, windy and raining in Moncton at 8 AM. It has been storming all night. The power flickered at my house twice this morning, waking me up, but, I guess I was lucky as 50,000 NB Power customers are currently without electricity. We topped things off with thunder and lightning at about 6 AM.

The storm will abate by the early afternoon, followed by rapidly declining temperatures, reaching the freezing point at 7 PM and -6C overnight.

Welcome to Canadian weather........

After an 8 degree high on Tuesday, down to -6 this morning. First real deep cold of the season.
