The day the government stops charging so much for things like airport taxes of whatever they are called is the day that the airport becomes the wealthiest, most profitable industry in the city.
I've never heard of a private industry that reduced it's prices in any substantive way because it got a tax break. Same pie, just divided more towards business instead of government. Regular people and commuters would get screwed just the same as always.
