Looks like they will initially take half a floor with seemingly big plans for growth downtown including the possibility of anchoring a new building
From the Tribune:
"One-hundred workers will initially make the move and occupy half a floor of the landmark Downtown skyscraper.
“Eventually it will be much larger ... because we do view ourselves as a growth company,” he said. “Our intention is to have our own building.”
While executives and some corporate functions will leave Kennametal's Unity headquarters, the company plans to keep “a substantial presence” there, including at its technical center, Newlin said. Spokeswoman Christina Sutter said 450 employees will remain in Unity."

It would have been cool if they would have signed on as the anchor tenant to one of the proposed 12-plus story high-rise buildings. I guess since it's only the executive offices moving (they're maintaining the bulk of their employment base in Latrobe if I read the article correctly). So I guess they're only looking to occupy perhaps a floor or two, if that...
It does make me wonder about other large corporations looking to move to/expand, etc to Pittsburgh, particularly Downtown. Weren't there other companies moving to (or closer to) Downtown?
