How about this tower in Vaudreuil-Dorion?

https://www.google.ca/maps/@45.414993,-7...itch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i13312!8i6656

Looks so bland and out of place that it was used in David Cronenberg's movie Scanners as the headquarters of an evil corporation:

It's definitely ugly for it's location and the giant blank pillars on it's sides that create even more blank space than their already is, though if those pillars were removed and this was placed somewhere that would make it look less stupid, it wouldn't be as fugly.

I think it'd be perfect in Mississauga, next to this similar but smaller sized building, which isn't very ugly:
https://www.google.ca/maps/@43.5943139,-...B5jSl8pgQGznH7w!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en

Speaking of squat office buildings, Mississauga has many...like this one that looks like it copied the FCP in Toronto, got turned diagonally, then was surrounded by surface parking because underground parking was supposedly too expensive for a lot of developers at the time. (A clocktower in the distance...)

And this POS. I have no clue when it was built, I'm going to guess late 90's. It's squat, and has aged poorly with whatever blue cladding they used....bleugh:

It definitely looks evil. I don't find ConSec ugly.

P.S. How do see FCP in that building?

Think of the basic tower design of FCP, before it was reclad a few years ago. Even then, I know what you mean, but on a purely cladding based look, they look at least somewhat similar, like if the architects on the Mississauga building cheaped out hardcore on the FCP design and put in a 9th of the height on the building.

What is really funny is that a horror movie was set in the building:Visiting Hours.

I really like that building, actually. Very clean style, futuristic, sleek, without being tacky. Aesthetically, everything's done right, too. (i.e. from an architectural standpoint, there aren't any big "no no"s there.)
