-4C and overcast in Moncton at 8 AM, going up to -1C this afternoon.

The "storm" here did not amount to much. At most, we got 5 cm of fresh accumulation. I have yet to fire my snowblower up this year.

Seven day forecast is benign. No storms in the forecast and temperatures ranging from -2C to +2C.

As mcminsin mentioned, dry, cool and sunny in Vancouver.

I think this is one of the only areas downtown where you can see Mt. Baker from street level.

While you’re dealing with record-breaking ice on the Great Lakes, we’re experiencing an almost 'non-existent' winter with temperatures way above average. It’s the same disrupted Jet Stream, it just hits us differently: you get the super cold snaps, and we get super mild winters with snow only at staggering altitudes
This is the first year in maybe a decade that we've had a winter that I remember that resembled winter as child here in Alberta. More snow, but not as cold, and lot shorter. Seems spring is already breaking out here in Alberta, which is quite different than what they are experiencing out in Ontario, etc.

The cold weather is escaping from the polar areas, as warmer weather has pushed up there

Spring is definitely not breaking out, going to be looking at -20 lows by the middle of next week.

Changing the air in the house. It's finally JUST mild enough for open windows for an hour or so.

Today, an extremely disturbing article was published in The Guardian regarding anthropogenic climate change

Especially that first few months. We do get January thaws but I do not remember this much rain , Freezing Rain and thawing. And now going into a cold patch again. We do get cycles but not with that great of change.

I also have never seen the warm temps and open water this late up on Baffin Island.

-8C and sunny in Moncton at 10 AM, getting up to the melting point this afternoon.

Generally benign seven day forecast. It may get up to +6C on Monday.

Cheers, SHH.

There are so many colourful alleys in the Downtown Eastside. You just need to be wary of where and what to shoot. Some of the alleys can get pretty intense.

It's all fun and games until you step in human feces!

Great shots though.

A mild stretch coming up for Toronto. Currently -2 and sunny.

7 day: -1/2/2/6/5/2/2

We are possibly looking at another significant snow storm Friday/Saturday next week. Too early to say how much snow but could be another doozy to cap off the season.

The mild weather doesn't seem to be long lasting as the pattern flips again for the last week of February, though the anomalies don't seem to be as extreme as the start of the month, plus the average by the end of February is higher anyways.

Still very mild in Calgary (for now), sunny and 12C yesterday. Today sunny and 9C, and then it starts to cool off. A high of -13C on Tuesday.
