Saw some interesting renderings for a little mixed-use infill on 124th. Well done, reputable builder. Should be interesting to see how it develops!

It's not just that. Pillars have been erected in awkward places, such as right next to the 1st floor escalator. The pedestrian flow from Commerce to City Centre is awkward due to more pillars and an ill-placed shopping directory - it's a game of chicken every time I pass through there. Best of all, one has to access the Second Cup on the main floor via escalator from the 2nd floor!

Just got a look at one of the new ATB floors in Telus House. Wish I could have got pictures, it was really nice. Crazy modern, lots of nice staff amenities, very open and bright. I'm a little jealous I don't work there.

^ Not anytime soon, their lease is only for a handful of floors right now. Not impossible for the future if they continue to expand and lease more space.

Also, Central LRT station is also looking a lot brighter. They've installed some really nice daylight-spectrum lighting, nice new ceiling tiles, and other details. The floor tiles still need to be replaced badly, but I'm hopeful that's still in the cards.

Bennett Jones law firm has that space right now, I believe on a sublease from TELUS. ATB has floors 14-25 (except 22).

There are really only 2-3 places along Jasper that would fit... but this one matches the contour, has an alley on the west side and has a closed alley north south...

That said, last I knew, John Day held most of these lands and I cannot see him going with RKF.

Massing is terrible and totally ignores the downtown plan. I'd support this if we had a density problem downtown. Alas, we do not.
