About the same as YEG gets from WestJet.

In both scenarios likely we will see LHR downguaged to the low cost, additional service from AC to Vegas and LAX, and one sun spots. WJ will remove jets in some spots for more frequency like YMM, but also reduce service with more direct service from northern cities to their Calgary hub.

Sounds like YEG is doing well in Delta's eyes...to bad they have CRJ900's on the route...

Moving up to mainline is a big commitment. Could B717s be in YEG's future as they are delivered?

YYZ may have some of the worst retail in the world for an airport its size. They seem to be slowly changing things but, man do they have a long way to go. Not sure who was originally in charge of concessions at the GTAA, but they shouldn't be employed anymore.

Well it looks like i'll be connecting through YYZ then since one, AC cramming 20% more seats into their 763's doesn't sound to comfortable and two, WS won't be flying any international flights anywhere but specifically Europe from YEG. I'll just fly to YYZ and connect to WAW via LO's new 787's.

Where are they getting all these 767? Will the 767-300 from Edmonton be moved to the LC? I've been trying to get upgraded from YEG-LHR and it's been harder....hopefully they will keep that route mainline. I do hope we gain with this not loss...but something tells me different.

I was assuming that AC will be adding seats to their existing aircraft slowly. Maybe they are already as YEG, YYC and i believe YVR have had their sun flights all but disappear. Come to think of it, LO will dispose of (return to the lessors)their four 767's by the middle of next year.

Upgrades are harder to get as upgrades out of YYC and YVR are very difficult so people are connecting.

There news release says they announcing 767 and 319 routes in 2 weeks...

Yes there are some people transfering in YEG for LHR, but when I've been flying lately most people are either from Europe or YEG at the front of the cabin.

I doubt it...it is a low cost airline after all and have you wondered why AC have not been fitting out their newly acquired 767's with business classes or IFE, even though they had them for a couple of years?

Well if you are referring to the 2 aircraft acquired from Hawaiian they actually do have a business class, just not the executive first lie flat seats that are in he rest of the wde body fleet. Out west in the winter it is old as business for tips to Hawaii, and out east in the summer it is economy plus for trips to Europe.

These will likely be the first ones in the new carrier, with the other 767s transferring as 787s are acquired.

Four are in Mexico. Still, 23 to 12.
