North York has so much potential. All it needs is one architecturally great building to get the ball rolling. I just hope they don't screw it up by approving the same calibre of buildings they have in the past. North York is turning into a major node in the GTA and needs to up its game.
- A strong street apron with retail on the first floors
- Much better architecture
- Mature trees the whole length
North York still feels rather cold/uninviting/ordinary/depressing. It has a huge disadvantage in that there aren't any beautiful old buildings like the Royal York or Union Station.
