As part of the university’s commitment to keeping students, staff, and community members informed, this notice is to advise you of site preparation work for the proposed St. Joseph's College Women's Residence.

From now to mid-December, you can expect the following:

November 12 - 15:

Project site safety fencing with accompanied restricted and modified site access for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Placement of site trailers and equipment.
Site survey.
November 18 - December 6:

Site preparation, including the removal and relocation of trees and concrete walks.
December 9 - December 20:
Installation of underground utilities.
Geotechnical survey and drilling for soil samples.

Construction noise
Contractors are expected to adhere to the City of Edmonton’s noise bylaws, which state that construction activity can take place between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday; and between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., on Sundays and Statutory holidays. On the rare occasion that construction goes later than the stated times, notification will be shared as soon as possible.

Services will focus initially on office and industrial leasing.

There have actually been four or five new players setting up shop in our market in 2013

Strong industrial is the focal point, but office and retail leasing throughout the city has been doing well also

Premier Alison Redford and Minister of Enterprise and Advanced Education Thomas Lukaszuk are scheduled to make the funding announcement for the centre Tuesday morning, according to college officials.

NorQuest College spokesperson Richard Wright said the dollars ensure a commitment to the college’s future.

So, museum, arena, norquest, and seventh street lofts all going on 104 at same time. That's awesome, but probably also going to be a bit of a headache for traffic for a while! Lol hopefully at 1 o'clock today, there will be a tower as part of the announcement as well! Staples?

Housing the homeless in the REMAND?

Eliminating chronic homelessness is as much about lack of identity, worth and the capacity to cope with ongoing mental health concerns as it as about housing options. You do not address these issues in downtown's beacon for abuse and cruel behaviour. This is not somewhere the population wants to be.

I find this concept completely stunned. No.
