No, I agree with Tetsuo that Rumble would be a fantastic street for cycling infrastructure, ideally a 2-way protected cycle lane on one side. This would connect at the same level with the North Arm Trail in Vancouver, provided that route is extended along Rosemont-Butler-Maquinna and through the forest trails to the Rumble crossing of Boundary. It would also link up with the BC Parkway at Gilley, and most importantly, it would give South Slope residents south of Rumble an east-west route closer to their elevation (unfortunately the ravines prevent doing this any further south). It's also worth noting that Victory is cut off at Patterson by the giant Ocean View Burial Park, whereas Rumble is not. Finally, Rumble has a great deal of extra space used as surface parking, and the space is excessive even for the cars. Putting in a cycle track would provide a great incentive to put in sidewalks as well, or at least upgrade them if done on the north side. There is far too much space given over to useless gravel. Another advantage is the possibility of calming car traffic on Rumble at the same time by reducing lane width, as it sits adjacent to at least four schools that I can think of, and there is little structural incentive for drivers to follow the 30km school zone speed limit.
The Victory bikeway is already pretty complete, the only thing it still needs are pedestrian controlled signals at Royal Oak and Nelson (and possibly Sussex), which will probably never happen given the cost of installing traffic lights.
I should mention that a 2-way cycle track or even urban trail down the west side of Patterson (south of Imperial) would also be very possible, and more useful now that the southeast corner of Central Park will be connected to the urban trail. Down at Marine and Patterson, there is a new urban trail being constructed through the "New Haven" development, which already connects all the way to the Glenlyon Parkway urban trail (the one absolutely wrecked by tree roots at present). This could also be a good place to try out one of those cyclocables Jonathan Cote was talking about for New West, lol.
