Micro-managing essentially all developments through non-sensical policies and so-called "Official Community Plan" basically created this bore. Developers are very certain that something like this would get approved by the City. Get used to it, that's what we are getting in years and years to come, as long as the same kinds of people run and lobby in this City.
At this rate of development, I personally don't think they will ever get those promised trams to run on those quiet residential streets in OV. I do see more buses running along 2nd Ave in the future though.
In OV, we should have been getting buildings like the One Central Park in Sydney, Australia. Look it up!
