springtime!

I personally can't wait until springtime pictures... it will be so cool to see how the warmer temperatures and sunlight plays across the glass to show its more subtle color hues. Every day it looks different!

Panorama from last night up at 360 Chicago.

Actual is a bit taller than my bad photoshop from last summer. Back then I didn't know the top two frustums were taller then the ones lower in the structure.

If anyone is wandering around downtown. I think I'm going to go shoot Vista from the Northside of the river between and/or on the Columbus & LSD bridges. Sunset is at 7:20, so I'll probably be around from 6:30-8

Vista is visible from street level at Clark/Waveland in Lakeview, noticed it yesterday morning. I'll take a pic one of these days...

The way those columns step in and out every floor for the varying slab edges is truly incredible, not to mention the leaning shear walls. It's cool but also sad that we get to see the brilliancy of the structure, but only for a short time until it's covered by all that glass.

In this second one the glass takes on a dark grey/black look. I would have been down with that. How cool would it have been to see from the lake three dark colored pillars? JHC, Vista, Sears!

I feel like people need to realize that the tower shifts colors depending on the day's weather. Embrace the evolving nature, don't wish for just one. Everyone will get some of what they like

7 Super talls can be seen.

Vista, Sears, MAGA International Hotel and Tower, John Hancock, Aon, 2 Prudential, and I believe the Franklin Center counts as one, due to the spires which are architectural.
