^ Based on blackcat's article, it appears that the mall itself - which has a pretty large footprint - would be part of the development. So this wouldn't have to be that tall. Think 8th and Grand, but likely with a couple of sections that potentially break the 8-story plane. That being said, though, with 100,000 sq. ft. of retail on the first and second stories, it's almost guaranteed that some portion of this development will have to go higher than 7 or 8 stories to reach 994 units. Personally, I really like the inclusion of 160 affordable units. That really helps.
