The Bar on Peachtree was wonderful, a very cool bar with rotating art and an amazing deck separated into dozens of outdoor rooms under the shade of old oaks.
The mall was supposed to be anchored by two long defunct NYC department stores - B. Altman and Bonwit Teller, and topped by two 40 story towers. One for offices, the other for condos. This was right after I moved here, back when Atlanta was really feeling its oats and just exploding with development and new residents. Sigh...now I feel old.
