... Not to mention Anytime Fitness just a little south on PoW and Harding! (EDIT: Oops! s/b PoW and Woodhams Dr. E. -- Harding St. starts west of PoW. I should know, the tots & company visit the Sandra Schmirler Centre every now and then!

I was driving around downtown last night about 10pm, and noticed there's some nightlife happening, judging by the amount of parked cars along some streets like Victoria Ave, 11th Ave., Hamilton St., Scarth St., and spotting more than a just few groups of people walking around! Although it was a very nice Friday night, which helped, it looks like more options for people after regular office hours have increased the night traffic (vehicular, and pedestrian) in those parts of downtown somewhat!
... Different story on the City Square and Victoria Park, though -- completely devoid of pedestrians. I hope that Capital Pointe project will help add something for liveliness to that side of downtown, when (if) it gets completed!
