I was pointing out that the average one bedroom in Vancouver that rents for ~$2k likely does not have any of those things. This is especially true of the core neighborhoods like the West End or Kitsilano which are full of older buildings that have shared laundry and do not have dishwashers, and certainly don't have a pool.
And by the way, you only have to look at the exterior of the building to realize the developer and investors are expecting a premium on condo sales and rentals. As for whether their expectations are unreasonable, we can check back in on this Facebook listing in a few months and see if it is still up with a reduced price or not.
Here's a listing in Brentwood that is expecting a high $psf. If you review the listing you'll notice the "unit amenities" include a dishwasher, in-suite laundry, and a balcony.
